One week since we left Glasgow!
We started this morning with some visitors fron the local secondary school, who joined us at our accomodation to discuss engineering and life in Glasgow. They were all interested in studying abroad and were very eager to learn more about life at University!
In the afternoon, we visited the Makgadikagi Salt Pans in Nata, where we took a game drive to get to them. On the journey to the pans we saw many wilder beast, zebras, and ostriches to name a few! we were lucky enough that there was baobab fruit growing on the baobab tree, which we got to taste. Once we made it to the pans we watched the sunset and chilled out with some refreshments. You can see the spectacular views from the pictures below.
This past week has flown by as we have had an exciting start to the workshops and have got to meet so many young students who have shown great enthusiasm and potential.
